Last updated: May 16, 2025
1. Introduction
Establishing a foundation of trust by outlining our commitment to protecting user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how IntiHealth collects, uses, and safeguards your personal information when you use our mobile application.
2. Data Collection
Detailing the process of gathering user data with a focus on minimal collection. IntiHealth does not collect or store any personal data on our servers. All health inputs, including symptoms, concerns, or photos related to possible STIs/STDs, are processed locally on your device to generate AI-powered advice.
3. Data Storage
Describing secure storage practices for user data. Any history data, such as past diagnosis or wellness advice, is stored locally on your device using secure storage (AsyncStorage). We do not upload this data to any servers, ensuring your information remains private and inaccessible to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
Highlighting interactions with external services while maintaining data privacy. IntiHealth uses the Google Maps API to provide clinic or pharmacy search functionality, which may require location permissions. We do not share your health data with Google; only your location (with your consent) is used for these searches. Google's Privacy Policy applies to location data processed by their service, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
5. In-App Purchases
Explaining payment handling and data security for subscriptions. Our app offers a subscription for full access to advice via in-app purchases. Payment information is processed securely by Apple through the App Store and is not stored or accessed by us. Apple's Privacy Policy governs payment data, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/en-ww/.
6. User Rights
Outlining user control over their data. You can delete your local history data at any time by using the app's clear cache feature (available in debug mode during development). As no data is transmitted to our servers, you retain full control over your information on your device.
7. Changes to This Policy
Notifying users of potential updates to privacy practices. We may update this Privacy Policy as IntiHealth evolves. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically. The last update date will be indicated at the top of this document.
8. Contact Us
Providing a channel for user inquiries and support. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at support@intihealth.com.
